My Dissertation
"Internet Self-Efficacy & Attitude Toward Cyberbullying Prevention Programs in Teachers and Mental Health Professionals in Minnesota"

Thanks for stopping by my page that shares
my passion for social psychology research
&
my devotion to counseling others
for healthy relationships
when visiting
the cyber world.
My doctoral journal began in June of 2014 and was finally completed with published research in November of 2019.
I have spent the last 5 years, studying attitudes and behaviors related to digital device use, misuse and abuse. Yep, I am passionate about understanding how our behaviors in the cyberworld influence our mental, physical & spiritual health.
What did my research conclude?
We cannot solve or blame cyberdeviance, cyberbullying or cyberugliness on one thing, such as employers, schools, app developers, cyberpolice or our parents, friends or colleagues.
And, the more cyber~confidence {technically called Internet self-efficacy} one has to take charge of their own cyberworld, the less likely they are to be negatively impacted by digital device use.

As with much dissertation research, it is a place to begin. My research is no different.
I just sampled my home state of Minnesota. It is now time to spread my wings and see what what the rest of you have to say.
As always, I love to discuss all things cyber, especially as they relate to our relationship with digital devices! Take a peek at my project & you know how I welcome any comments, suggestions or questions you may have.
And always, be cyberkind, Katy
